Ponderosa Steakhouse

I was pleasantly surprised to find thus location even existed, I thought all of them in the vicinity had closed down! All meals come with access to the buffet Or you can just buy access to the buffet alone. The salad bar looked good, though I didn't have any of it this trip.We came after church on Sunday & they still had a number of breakfast items available, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy....this was nice as most buffets have changed to lunch before we can get there after church!Their fried chicken is great, moist with a light breading. Many of the side dishes were very lightly seasoned, but that allows the diner to add salt & pepper to taste. Multiple desserts were available, something for pretty much everyone!Drinks are not included with the meals but I indulged in the BlackBerry Iced Tea....the Blackberry flavor was mostly an aftertaste but was nice.I look forward to my next visit.

They have fabulous porterhouse steak. They're fried chicken is also good. Buffet stocked & clean. Also, very clean restrooms. Great for the whole family.

The ribs were good and fell off bones. But my husband ordered his rib eye medium rare and it came medium well. No pink at all. The buffet food was good too.
